Camping at Marble Creek

Despite the miserable weather, I am still able to squeeze out a laugh or two. Here are a few of the day's chuckle-worthy events.
Corbin got a new helmet and wears it everywhere(as if his head wasn't big enough). This is funny in and of itself, but it also makes me smirk because I'm told his father did the same thing as a child.
Jackson has a new love for whipped cream. If he doesn't want to eat something, I suggest we top it with whipped cream. He usually agrees. Why doesn't every mother try it?
I spoke with Isaac's teacher today. She wants Isaac to get tested for gifted and talented ( :O). She then proceeded to tell me that not only does he dance in smarty pants, but he also rushes to her side whenever she appears to need help.
As my grandmother would say, "I was tickled" to hear it.
He lost his gecko today...again.
It took a lot of
standing on the couch and shouting commands,
but the boys put their heads together and caught the dang thing.
Hindsight is much more entertaining than real time,is it not?
Brody walked today ( with the help of a walker,of course)! Yikes!!
He can't get enough fresh fruit, and dislikes most breads, and putting him to sleep is as easy as laying him down upon his favorite blankie and wishing him a good night. If only the rest of them would get to bed as easily.
The blowout ( and I don't mean sale, ladies) at the mall today...
not quite a breeze.

impressed at your creative blogging during the missing camera fiasco.
re: the snow. can you shoot me now?
re: your genius kid. just yesterday at recess he was hiding out with me under the overhang, trying to avoid the HAIL and feeling as confused as i was about why the hell we were outside during mother nature's hormonal rage. he says to me, "it's hailing." i say, "no doubt. pretty nasty, huh?" he says, "yeah, they're about 17 inches." i say, "the hail is 17 inches?" he says, "yeah. it's killing me." i say, "17 inches is pretty big for hail." he says, "well, these are more like 15 inchers. but at my house, we get the 17 inchers."
no wonder you're sick of the weather. 17-inchers at your house.
