We got Isaac and Jackson into a weeklong hockey camp in McCall, Idaho this summer. Being the real deal, we decided to camp the whole week there while the boys skated to their heart's content. McCall is probably the best place on earth, so we were delighted to suffer there. The beaches on the lake are gorgeous, the camp site was really nice, the restarurants were fun( I tried sushi-so good!) and the bike trails were great. Sometimes, we will put a lot of effort into planning some event for the kids to do in the summer and they are still bored and full of energy at the end of the day. This was not the case for this particular week. The moment their heads hit the pillows they were droolin' like a teething babe. The other hockey parents that we've come to know and love were there too, so we got together a few times. If our family could pick up and move anywhere just because, it would be here. Hands down. We can't wait till next year to do it again.
The McCall Lake is beautiful.
The boys had a blast laying in the sand.
Some of us even brought our floatation devices...
Then, of course, the skating had to be done.

These are some of the teammates that came from Moscow. I don't know what's more scary, the huge biceps, or the germ content of the hot tub.

We camped with the Klass family. They have three very nice boys. Here's the whole crew at the top of a mountain (duh).
And our campsite...
