Monster

Tonight as I was working on getting my boys to bed, I ran into Corbin on the stairs quite suddenly.
" You scared me, Mom. I thought you were a monster"
I replied "I am. Good eye."
"You're not a monster. You are a woman and a wife and you have a bunch of kids."
To this, Jackson added " Yeah, and we are yours and you do whatever you want with us."
"I want you to go to bed. I responded
" Wow, you really are a monster" whispered a voice from nowhere.
